Mountain Madness
Spend time with new friends, scaling peaks, climbing rock faces in the snow and enjoying good food. Meet some of the other creatures that call the valley “home” and do our bit to protect them by participating in hands-on conservation work.
Description
Mountain Madness
Feel like a mountain holiday? Spend 5 days in the secluded Makarora Valley on the doorstep of Mt Aspiring National Park. Situated at the northern end of Lake Wanaka, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, we'll spend our time in a range of outdoor activities - climbing mountains and cliffs, wandering through the bush searching for elusive and endangered birds, and gazing at stars. We'll also eat lots of good food and spend time reflecting on the wonder and fragility of the world we are part of, the Creator who sustains it, and how we can best care for it.
